The Story Behind This Piece

This image began as my daughter.
She has always been a mirror of light,
someone I see as beautiful, radiant, full of soul.

But for most of my life, I couldn’t see that in myself.

Until I began creating this piece.
And slowly…
I saw myself staring back.

This is a piece about self-recognition.
About the quiet return of light, not from outside us,
but from within.
